Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Borehamwood
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Borehamwood is conveniently located on the main High Street and a 2 minute walk from Elstree and Borehamwood train station. It’s location makes us perfect for families in the local area or commuting in and out of the town centre.
The nursery provides outstanding facilities for babies, toddlers and preschool children aged from 3 months through to 5 years old. Alongside our excellent childcare facilities, we are also an OFSTED Good nursery.
We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child and our welcoming and friendly team make our nursery feel like a home from home for both our children and their families.

- We are open Monday to Friday – 51 weeks of the year
- Closed for Bank Holidays and during Christmas week
- We offer full day sessions from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm
- Morning sessions from 7.30 am to 1.00 pm
- Afternoon sessions 1.00 pm to 6.30 pm
- All main meals and snacks prepared on site
- Branded Nappies and wipes are included in the price
- Modern security systems, including CCTV cameras
- Amazing outside play area with impact absorbing safety surfacing
- Kidactive– Mondays for Preschool and Toddlers
- French – Wednesdays for Preschool
- Soccer Star Sports – Thursday for Preschool
- Jo Jingles – Tuesday for Toddlers and Babies

Our fees are inclusive of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks. Daily menus are carefully selected by a professional nutritionist to meet energy requirements of growing children.
